For 3 people – 6 tortellis
1 packet of fresh flaky pastry 1 egg yolk brown sugar 2 spoons of Lazzaris Venetian mostarda caramel
Cut the pastry into 6 squares 10 cm. large. Put the mustard in the center of each square and close it, forming the typical tortelli shape. Brush with beaten egg yolk, sprinkle with brown sugar and cook in a preheated oven at 220° for 15 minutes, checking to see if it is golden brown. Serve decorated with caramel or melted chocolate.
Preparation of the “caramel”
In a small non-stick saucepan, melt 6 spoons of white sugar over a slow heat. Continue to mix until the sugar becomes a beautiful burnished color; decorate the plate straight away and leave to solidify.
