2 heads of late red radicchio of Treviso 8 large slices of smoked beef Venetian Lazzaris mostarda at will balsamic vinegar seasoning at will salt and extra virgin olive oil, as necessary
Wash and chop the radicchio, add it to the beef, previously cut into small strips, and season everything with the balsamic vinegar elixir. Garnish the dish with leaves or radicchio hearts to serve, accompanying with Lazzaris Venetian Mostarda.
Balsamic vinegar elixir
In a saucepan add 4 spoons of balsamic vinegar, 6 spoons of olive oil, one spoon of brown sugar, 6 leaves of basil with fresh ground black pepper. Mix for five minutes over a slow flame and filter into a container with a hermetic top. Preserve the seasoning in the refrigerator for two weeks.
